Hey, what’s up, guys, soldier knows best there, so I have the new Logitech and Mix Master 3D mouse in hand right now and I’m going to give you my quick review of this mouse and show you some of the new things that Logitech has been working on that they’re putting in this new masted three mouse first.
And so this jump right to it. So just this out of the box with this mouse.
You have the mouse, of course. And also two, you have a USP C cable, which is a nice addition because now it does have a UCSC port in the front. So in just one minute of charge, you can get three hours of use out of this. And if you’d just give this a full charge, it should be able to last you around 70 days.
And also inside of the box, you have their unified USP receivers. Now you can connect.
This must be a Bluetooth or using this receiver to your computer.
And I would love to see a UCSC version of this unified receiver eventually at some point, since a lot of new computers, especially a lot of the laptop that I have, just have USPS ports on them.
But hopefully that will be an option that they can either sell separately or just give you an option to buy this mouse with that and just have a choice between the two.
All right. So now let’s get to the massive three itself. And so this mouse has come in two different colors. It comes and graphite and also mid gray. But this is the graphite version that I’m showing you. And the mouse is comfortable.
And every time Logitech releases a new mouse, they talk about how they’ve worked on the ergonomics of it and have to say that you’re not going to find anything.
That’s a really big step off an ergonomics with this mouse.
But if it has been a couple of generations since you’ve used it, it master mouse, you will find this mouse to be incredibly comfortable, even for people who have big hands like I do.
And I personally do like the ribbed texture that they have on the side.
Where you gonna be resting your thumb? So it really allows you to get a nice, really good grip and something that should be comfortable for long sessions. Now, let’s look underneath this mouse because you’ll find a couple of things, including the on off switch.
And then also you’ll find the button that will allow you to switch between the up to three different devices that you can have this mouse connected to.
So using the combination of Bluetooth and the USP receiver, well, I need to just as quickly switch between these things without having to plug or unplug anything.
All right, sonatas, look at the buttons in the wheels on this mouse. So on the left hand side, you will find the thumb will, which has been redesigned along with the thumb button. So that then will looks to be a little bit bigger.
And they’ve also elected to move the thumb buttons below the thumb will instead of having them on the side of it like they had with the two W. So this makes it easier to reach them. And below these buttons, you have their gesture button, which allows you to do a couple of things so you can just press the button like normal.
And I have a setup to do like mission control.
So it will show me all of my apps on the screen. But you can also press and hold and then now you can swipe up and down and left and right and you can set these up to do different actions.
So I have a set up to do Michigan show app Expo’s A and also to be able to rotate through all of my open apps.
And one thing I would like to see with this is just that if it was actually moved to where your thumb is naturally resting, which is right there on the side of the mouse, because in order to use this now, yet that either, like rotate your thumb over to the left to be able to press the button or you just have to move your thumb altogether.
So I think this is something that can get used to, but I would love to see how they have it on their triathlon mouse where it’s just right there where your thumb is naturally resting so you can press it without having to move it at all.
But now let’s go out top to the main scroll wheel.
And this year, Logitech is introducing their max speed will. So this is a will that’s going to be using electro.
And to not get super technical is basically going to allow for less friction.
So when you’re using it, it’s going to be a smoother operation. And Logitech says you can get up to a thousand lines in one second that you can scroll with, which is insane.
So if you have like Excel documents, just things that have a lot of different pages on them, you can be able to scroll through them with ease with this. And it’s also going to be super quiet.
So just take a listen to this.
And so, as you can see, or really as you can hear, that this is a nice step up from their previous scroll wheels that I’ve just really gotten used to here in that sound now is going to be kind of hard to go back to that.
So hopefully they bring this to their next lineup of mice that they release.
And also, I just really like the feel of this because it is machine still so has a very nice, nice, tactile feel to it.
Now, also a buddy Mac. Well, you do have this button that will allow you to switch between this super fast scrolling mode to another mode that’s more like a step by step mode. So you can easily scroll up and down with more accuracy.
All right. So something that’s new with this mouse is actually dealing with there lots of tech options, software.
So this software already allows you to customize all the buttons on this mouse, including these scroll wheels, to your personal taste with specific apps or just everything across the board.
But now Logitech is going to be including some predefine apps, specific profiles that they kind of did a little bit of research with people who liked to use their mice with a bunch of these popular apps coming from like Adobe and Microsoft and things like your favorite browsers or even like final cut.
So now, right from the jump, you can go and start using this mouse and already have a bunch of process that will probably be able to allow your workflow to be better.
And so I can go from using the thumb scroll wheel and final cut to kind of scrub through my timeline to switching over to Google Chrome. And now I can use that same will to go through all of my different open tabs. And so this was already set up with logistics, predefined profiles, and it just happened to be the way I like to use it.
So I missed it with it. But again, if I don’t like it, I can go into the options software and change it up. OK.
So these new few things are really lots of text, main new talking points about this mouse.
But this mouse can still work with their lots of tech flow software, which will allow you to be able to drag the mouse cursor from one screen of a computer to another screen that you have right there sitting next to you.
Now, even though this mouse can work with Windows, computers, Macs, and also new this year is going to be Linux compatibility.
You can still only use lots of tech flow with just Windows and Macs for right now.
And you can also copy and paste files is a good way to transfer things over just using this, which is incredibly useful. And this mouse does have their dark 4000 Deepthi sensor, which can track on many different surfaces, including glass.
So yeah, I mean, it makes a Mastin lineup of mice have always been aimed at being the do everything mouse.
Now, if you want something that’s going to be for gaming, I mean, you can still go with like their G nine or three, which is going to be lighter and just more comfortable for very fast movement. But for me, I like to throughout the day just switch between gaming and also working on editing a video or just doing some emails and things like that.
And I go through two different computers normally my gaming computer phone.
Velocity Micro and also my MacBook.
And this allows me to do both with a mouse, which just really comfortable to use and just really adaptable. So the Imex Mascotry is here.
If you want to buy it for yourself, it will run you ninety nine dollars and I’ll leave a link down below so you can check it out for yourself and also leave your comment down below and let me know what you think about this mouse.
