Hey, So today I have an unboxing a new special edition of the BlackBerry. Key to this is the new Red Edition. So this is going to be bringing a new color to a phone that’s already been off for a little while. But I’m a go ahead and take a look at what this phone is.
Bring it to the plate. So some of these specs include a four point five inch, 16, 20 bitin 80 LCD display.
It also has a Snapdragon 660 processor inside of it. And so you can get this phone with either 64 gigabytes or like this one has one hundred and twenty eight gigabytes of storage.
And that is pair the long size, six gigabytes of RAM. And this one also has a thirty five hundred Milla amp hour battery, which they rate to be able to last you around two days. All right, so that’s enough for these specs is going to get this thing cut open and then now we’re going to go ahead and take off the top layer of this box.
And this is going to unveil the phone for the first time. And you know what?
I really do like this candy red color. It really does stand out as a nice looking red on this phone.
But we’ll take a closer look at this phone in a second. But I’m going to set that to the side and get to the rest of the things out of the box, including some of the additional paperwork in QuickStart guys and stuff like that that we normally see with phones. I don’t need that crap. Neither do you.
But then also, two of the best things aside in the box include the USP wall charger.
And they don’t want a pair of earphones that have some extra tips and also in line controls. And then you also you do get the use B, C cable.
So that’s everything is out of the box. Now it’s time to get to this red edition of the BlackBerry Ketu. And as I get everything pillared off of it, we are presented with a phone that looks stylish.
It does have a unique professional look to it, but it’s just a really cool looking phone.
And I just really like that color. And then I really like this textured back on. It allows you to get a really good grip on the phone. And it just feels good to hold us that I was holding glass or metal all the time. I like that.
And then on the bottom of this phone, you will find the USPS Sea Port and also the speaker.
And on the right hand side, you’re going to find the rest of the buttons and controls. So you have the volume controls.
And below that you’ll find the power button to has a little bit of a textured grip on it, which is nice as well.
And then below that, you’ll find this convenience key, which you can customize to open up particular apps or other things that you may wanted to do. And then on the left hand side, you’ll find a tray for the SIM card and also a micro SD card if you want to expand your storage.
And then at the top of this phone, you will find the headphone jack.
Now, when I hadn’t got this phone powered on and I went through the setup process and I’m not going to bore you by showing you that.
But as I get to the rest of the things about this phone, including the physical keyboard, you don’t really see this that much these days. And it’s been a while since I’ve used a phone that has one. But this one does have it. And so this key to does have a redesigned keyboard compared to the one that was on the key one.
So I do like the potential what a physical keyboard brings, but we’ll just see how that works out.
Now, something else inside of the keyboard that’s actually inside of the spacebar is the fingerprint scanner.
So is that going to be on the side or the back?
This phone is going to be built in to that space bar and you can set it up just like normal. Now, you can use this to unlock your phone, arsenite as you want to talk about these software because his phone is running Android eight point one Orio. So it is a little bit behind the times there.
But you do get some unique things because you do have this physical keyboard in combination with the software, including that you can have shortcuts.
So you can combine two different keys together. So I can do like this key and then also the see button. And this will allow me to open up Google Chrome. And you’re going to sign that to be whatever you want, of course, in the software.
And then when you are interacting with an input box, like a search box or the ash bar and Google Chrome, once you tap on that, you have this little bar that shows up at the bottom.
And so this gives you access to a few useful things, like being able to quickly scroll through a bunch of different texts that are having to drag your finger and do a lot of tapping.
You can quickly use as kind of the system here to be able to drag the arrows up and down at the right to be able to go through those stuff. Then let’s say you don’t want to use a physical keyboard.
You can always just hit the cymbal button on that keyboard and that would bring up the software base keyboard.
So it has all your different symbols and numbers and of course, letters. You can just use that to type.
And then right below the screen, you have this little area that has all your different navigation controls. And so this is a BlackBerry phone. So, of course, you also have other things that will help you be productive, like this productivity tab that you can swipe over and be able to see your day at a glance and calendar appointments and things like that.
And so, yeah, this is my unboxing of the red edition of The Key, too.
So this phone has been out for a while already, but they spice it up with this new color. And I like the way it looks.
And so we’ll see if I can get used to this keyboard. So anyway, I’ll even link down below if you want to check out this phone more closely for yourself or just pick one up. And so, like I always describe if you want.
And also, if you want, check out all my social media links down below. And like always, I do want to thank you for watching this article. And I will catch you later.
