The skies are becoming increasingly dark.

And now that I talked about that here on my channel,Once we finally, finally have moved and settled down and everything.
And I know a lot of you guys really love those, so you don’t want to miss some.
So this lesson in particular is all about how to make money blogging more efficiently and kind of putting things on autopilot here and there. Obviously, you can’t put everything on autopilot, but you can put a lot of things on autopilot and you can set up certain systems.
So I’m not going to talk too much about it in the intro because I have a lot of information here that I definitely want to go over. So grab a pen and paper.
Go get you a cup of coffee, girl, because we’re gonna sit here for a little bit and we are going to be talking about a lot of different things of a wait before I dive in here.
I want to make sure that you don’t forget to get the blogging business club for 40 percent off before the coupon expires on February 11th, 2018. So if you want to join the blogging business club, it is a monthly membership where I post new blogging and business lessons and tutorials and things like that on the first of every single month.
So you’re constantly getting new content and new lessons and you can continuously grow your blogging business throughout the year, which is really great that you will miss the opportunity to get it for 40 percent off if the coupon expires and you don’t want that to happen.
So be sure to check the description box for all the information. But without further ado, let’s dive into this final lesson here.
So over the past few days, we really talked about the creator role and the businesswoman role. Right. So in some of the lessons we talked about, you know, growing your page views and or increasing your page views, rather writing blog posts, and that’s kind of the creators side.
That’s what you’re creating. But then on the flipside, we also talked about working like a businesswoman and, you know, figuring out what kind of products you might want to sell and things like that.
And so today’s lesson where I’m going to be kind of giving you an idea of how it is I set myself up in order to make money blogging efficiently and to also put a lot of things on autopilot.
So then I could have more flexibility with my schedule and that I could take time off if I needed to and still be generating, you know, revenue and making money, even if I’m not sitting at my desk. I’m going to be kind of talking about a hack.
I don’t know that it’s really a hack. I don’t like that term for what I’m going to describe to you. But for lack a better word, yes, a secret of a certain mindset, if you will, that I really kept on hand. Anytime I was working on my blog in the past couple of years.
So what we’re gonna do is we’re kind of going to be combining the two worlds, the creator world and the business woman world.
We’re going to be putting those together and kind of making sure that every single aspect, regardless of whether it falls under the creator role or the businesswoman role, kind of matches with something so that it all works together, literally.
I don’t think I could have made a worse description of what it is is about. So if you’re super confused, you’re probably not alone and I’m just going to dive in here so that it can make sense.
OK, so I know a lot of you saw my blogging milestone income and expenses report, you guys. No, I don’t do income and expense reports, but I had hit a big blogging milestone way back last year, and I went ahead and did an income and expenses report just for the special occasion.
If you missed that video, I’ll leave it linked up here under this eye. But when I talked about in there is how 2016 had been my year of intense strategizing and working on setting up automation’s so that the following year, 2017, I could really cash in on all those efforts and have far more passive income than I had ever experienced before.
If you want to make money blogging on a more passive level, so that is you’re not constantly trading time for dollars. So you’re not actively sitting there working on a project and then only making money just for that project.
You’re sitting down. You’re working ahead. You’re creating a product or you’re creating systems so that you can see your blog make money every single day, regardless of whether you’re sitting at your desk.
You’re doing laundry. You’re taking care of the kids. You’re running errands. Now, regardless of what you’re doing, you’re generating income in some way by setting up certain systems to ensure that that money can be made passively.
They’ll briefly sum up some of what I said in that income and expenses report video. In 2016, I just kept planning ahead and thinking of all the different ways that I wanted to make money, possibly.
I wanted to sell products. I wanted to increase ad revenue and affiliate income and things like that. And the only way I knew I could do that is if I worked really hard during 2016 and setup everything so that I could essentially recycle most of my content and recycle most of the funnels that I had so that they could kind of be put on autopilot in 2017.
Now, that is not to say that I did not work in 2017 because brother, I did. But you can go from working, you know, 45, 50 hours a week to condensing that down to, you know, 20, 25 hours a week and just having more flexibility.
I’m a really good example of, you know, setting up automations and really fine tuning them to work for your business is I had moved and I’ll leave that video linked up here if you want to see that.
And what had happened was while we moved into a new home, I packed everything, moved everything. We DIY the move ourselves.
We didn’t hire anybody. We just had friends coming over and helping us. I couldn’t do anything like that. I couldn’t create products.
I was so exceptionally busy moving my family and settling into our new home that I took off a couple of weeks. And during that time I continuously made money.
In fact, when you look back, it was one of the best revenue months I ever had. And so the interesting thing that I found about that is that the automations and.
The funnels and the systems that I had set up in 2016 had obviously paid off in twenty seventeen. So that’s the point that you want to get to.
You want to set up these systems so that you can take off a couple of weeks and move your family if you need to and still bring in money to support yourself financially.
You may not have to take an entire year to set up funnels and systems and things like that. I did. I know that it was a long, exhausting process.
And I know that you have had moments just like I did, where you became so sick of not making enough money off of your blog that you felt like throwing in the towel.
But that is the moment. That is the moment where you make the decision to stick with it and you re-evaluate what strategies you have. You look for different ways that you can continue to grow.
Because that’s where a lot of people quit. They throw in the towel because the money’s not coming in fast enough. Believe me when I say I understand the frustration because I have been there.
But if you keep with it and if you commit to that business because it is a business, it’s not just a blog. It is an actual business that you are running. If you keep working on it and you keep strategizing and you keep re-evaluating and working on it, then eventually you will get there.
So 2016, I worked that entire year with. A relentless hustle mindset where I just wouldn’t let go.
I just knew that if I worked hard enough the following year, I would eventually reap the benefits of being able to cut back on the number of hours that I put in or the number of products that I was creating and things like that.
So be patient and be prepared to put in that hard work ahead of time. It’s not going to happen overnight. And I would probably go to say it’s not gonna happen in six months.
You have to work long and hard and you have to be committed to it and eventually you will get there. But it just doesn’t happen overnight and it doesn’t happen over the space of a couple weeks.
It didn’t happen that way for me. But if you’re willing to stick with it for, you know, at least a year and really work on growing a business and not just a blog, then you can get to that point as well.
And that brings me to my next tip for you. And that is like the main tip that I want you to take away from this lesson.
And this is like the biggest tip that you’re going to get out of this video and probably out of this entire five days series. And that is grab a pen and paper wants you to write this down.
Start with the main issue that you want to solve for people and then work backwards from there. So don’t start with. Well, let’s see. I am a food blogger. And so there like a million different things that I could talk about, tons of different blog posts and I could write.
And then you just start scribbling down ideas. That’s not what you want to do. You’re doing it wrong. If you really want to grow a blogging business, I want you to start with the end result that you want to give people.
So a really good example of this would be, you know, you are a food blogger. That is a very specific idea. That is a very specific problem that you’re helping people solve.
I’m not very good at meal planning, to be honest. If you tried to quiz me on exactly all the rules of paleo eating, I would fail. So I would need your help in that regard.
And what you can do is you can solve that exact problem for me. I want to eat paleo meals. I want to have meal planning so that I can save money and be organized. You’re going to help me get there.
So that’s the end goal for me. That’s the end goal for you. Now, your job is to work backwards from there. So then you start brainstorming ways to get me to that point.
And that changes how you look at what kind of blog posts you want to write.. What kind of subscriber incentives you want to create. So maybe you are a food blogger. Maybe you’re a paleo food blog blogger, and that’s all you do.
But now you know, you want to get me to the point where I don’t know how to meal plan. I don’t know how to create paleo meals.
But you’re going to get me throughout this entire journey to where I can get to a point where I can meal plan and create paleo meals that are for my family and delicious and wonderful and that will, you know, help me lead a healthier lifestyle.
I made the mistake in my past where, you know, I just kind of thought of my topic, what it is we talk about on my blog. And then I just kind of wrote left and right different things that I could post about and write about and share and things like that.
And that’s great because you’re sharing content that, you know, works just fine with your niche.
But that’s not how you want to work. If you really want to set up automation’s, if you want to set up sales funnels, you want to look at the end result and say, that’s what I want to get people.
I want to get them to be able to accomplish this goal, which means I’m going to create a product that’s going to help them do that.
I’m going to create subscriber incentives that will help them do that, but then also get them on my email list so that I could eventually sell my product to them.
And I’m going to attract new readers by creating content around that end goal. You know, obviously don’t want to give the end goal in the blog post, but that will get them closer to accomplishing that goal.
And that’s going to attract new readers so that when they land on my site, they know exactly what they can accomplish if they commit themselves to my content or if they purchase my product or get my subscriber incentive and things like that.
Now, the reason this tip is so important is because is because it gets you closer to setting up funnels and sending up automations. And so that’s gonna be my third tip here.
So take that final goal, whatever that end goal is that you want to help people accomplish and start writing out the different ways that you could automate things for that. So there could be a list of 30 blog posts that you could create in the next year.
And those blog posts will feed into and mention a subscriber incentive that will get people on your list. And then once they’re on your list, you’re going to put them in a funnel that will eventually say, hey, by the way, since you’ve really been digging this Palios.
Stuff and meal planning stuff. I also have this product that can help you completely fine tune your meal planning process with delicious paleo recipes that are, you know, kid friendly and that are delicious and on a budget and things like that.
And so if you really want to take things up another notch, then you can go ahead and purchase my product.
And here’s how you can do it. If you sit down and write a blog post, you can schedule it so that it goes live at a later date. If you create a video and you want to uploaded to YouTube, you can schedule it so that it goes up at a later date.
If you want to post things in social media, you can schedule them so that they go live at a later date. You can schedule nearly anything at this day and age with all of the software that we have available to us, and that helps you prepare and also take time off later if you need to, so that you are consistently posting new content.
But you’re not sitting there yourself pushing publish an it’s going live at the moment that you finally finished writing it. You can schedule things and work ahead of time. And then when it comes to, you know, feeding people into your sales funnels.
I actually have two lessons in the BBC that shows you exactly how I work my funnels, exactly how I get people, you know, to read my blog posts, to enjoy my content upgrades or my subscriber incentives, depending on whatever it is you call them.
They’re the same thing. And then eventually, while they’re on my list, eventually feeding them into my products and saying, hey, you want to take things to the next level.
This is something that I offer and you might be interested in it. And so by having a consistent stream of evergreen content content that people can read no matter what day of the week it is or what season it is content that is actually helping them solve a particular problem and bringing people back to my site again and again because they know I’m going to have valuable content on there.
Then I’m getting them on my email list and then I’m feeding them into these these products. That consistent cycle is essentially setting up an automation and having it to where, you know, somebody could find an old blog post of mine from October of last year.
And they’ve just now found it for the first time. It’s February, by the way. And so they read that blog posts. They totally dig it. They find that I have a subscriber incentive Senate.
So they sign up for it. They get on my email list, they’re put into a funnel. And before you know it, seven days later, they’ve purchased a product. I just made money because somebody purchased a products that I had created back in 2016 and was put in a funnel that I created back in 2016.
And they are just now finding it, you know, almost two years later. And I’m still making money because I’ve set up my automation’s perfectly and those automation’s are set up.
Once you can identify what it is, that end goal is for your readers, what is you can help them accomplish.
So I hope I’m making sense. I know that that’s a lot of information for me to share, so I hope I’m not coming across as too confusing.
When we talk about actual sales funnels and you know how many e-mails I send when I send them, what exactly is in those emails, what they should look like and things like that?
That’s actually something that I save for my blogging business club that is exclusive content that I have just in there. So if you’re interested in seeing those funnels and if you’re interested in seeing what it is I do to work behind the scenes so that I can set up my automation’s, be sure to check the link in the description box.
You can join the blogging business club there and you can use the coupon code if it’s still good. But that is going to wrap it up for this lesson. Hit the like button.
If you are feeling like, you know, you’ve got some new ideas about how you can really work ahead and eventually set up your blog on something that is, you know, maybe not 100 percent on autopilot because there’s no such thing, but something that can be relatively on auto and gives you the flexibility to take off weeks at a time if you need to.
And, you know, take care of your family or whatever personal things you might have going on, but then still be able to support yourself financially.
It was a lot of fun to create and I felt like five days wasn’t enough. So you may see another video series at some point later on this year, because I have a lot of ideas.
I have a lot of things they want to share with you guys, and it’s just all about making sure that it doesn’t become too overwhelming.
Oh, my gosh, it’s so scary. I can’t believe it’s happening so quickly, but I’m so excited.
And if you want to follow me behind the scenes and see, you know, our new house and things like that, be sure to go ahead and follow me on Instagram, because I do a ton of Instagram stories and I will be keeping you guys up to date with things like that so you can see the new house and everything. So, as always.
